the super cool antique table that I got at the Clothes lion--it has magazine racks on both sides and another shelf in the middle. I also got some really neat antique books from the early 1900s and late 1800s on there.Sadly, I never got a picture of the room before--but it was a dark green and we had dark red bedding. I'm just loving how light and lovely it is now! I'm having a hard time deciding what kind of furniture to get--I can get a dresser for my valentines gift but I can't decide what kind! I have realized that I really lean towards the more mismatched antique look than a tailored set. bah. well, there's no rush!
I LOVE IT!!!!! Does the boy like it? I need you to be on the look out for me a work island or table for the kitchen! You are so thrifty and no all the good spots to look in.

I really like the mixed look, too. I read that in Oprah's house, no two pieces of furniture match--not even the kitchen table chairs. All of the chairs are different, and none of them match the table. I think that's awesome.
